So. I woke up in a house I've never been before. No idea how I got here. Did the containment unit go haywire and warp me into another dimension? Can it even Do that? I don't know. Egon isn't around to explain.
None of them are.
The lady living there was more welcoming than I thought she'd be for somebody dealing with a stranger in her home. She did shoo me out but not before handing me a bag with all I'd need for my "poke amon(?) journey" and a metal ball with a button on it. Not sure if I should push it before finding out what it does first.
[edit]:
Checked out the research lab in town. It's right next door, conveniently enough. Figure so long as I'm here I should make the effort of gathering as much info as I can about this world. They explained what the ball does to me. It's some kind of single-capacity trap called a Pokéball. For storing Pokémon. The one I have is a donkey-looking thing called a mudbray. A "ground type".
Looks like I've got my research cut out for me.
[11-4-2019]:
Can't say I ever wondered "what would it feel like to be crushed under the weight of an entire Ton of horse" to myself. Wasn't a burning question I was itching to get an answer to, wasn't some mystery haunting my every waking moment during the day and keeping me wide awake at night. Nobody ever asked it to me to begin with. Why would they? What kind of question is that?
Anyway, I'll be training myself to throw Brooklyn's ball until it lands a consistent ten yards away, every time, from here on out.
